DAY 1 ARRIVE HARTFORD

Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Hartford. Upon arrival, transfer to Marriott Hartford Downtown. Relax and enjoy the remainder of your day, before joining your travelling companions for a welcome reception and dinner at the Mark Twain House & Visitors Centre.

DAY 2 PLYMOUTH

Following breakfast, you will enjoy a visit to the Harriet Beecher Stowe Museum, which explores the life of the American abolitionist and author whose works includes Uncle Tom's Cabin, a depiction of how life was for African-American slaves. Enjoy a Harvest cooking demonstration and lunch before arriving in Plymouth, Vermont, where you may chose relax in your hotel or join an expert discussion on historical agricultural and preservation.

DAY 3 PLYMOUTH & WALPOLE

This morning you will travel to Walpole, New Hampshire, to the Ken Burns Studio for a visit to Florentine Films, which has produced some of the most honoured documentaries ever made in America. Following lunch at The Common Man in Claremont, you will enjoy a guided visit to the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site, the home, studios and gardens of one of America's greatest sculptors; Augustus Saint-Gaudens . Meet a local sculptor and see his Windsor studio, before returning to the hotel.

DAY 4 WHITE MOUNTAINS

Following breakfast you will explore Billings Farm and Museum, one of the finest operating dairy farms in America which incorporates a museum depicting Vermont's rural pas. Lunch is at the Hanover Inn at Dartmouth College, where you will also benefit from an informative history presentation. After a stop at the Franconia Notch Visitors Centre in Lincoln, your drive this afternoon takes you into New Hampshire's majestic White Mountain.

DAY 5 CANTERBURY & PORTSMOUTH

Before departing for another exciting day, there's time for a quick presentation on the unique wildlife and geology of the White Mountains. Then, grab your camera for a very scenic drive to the town of Canterbury, where you will enjoy a guided tour and some free time to explore the fabulous shops and restaurants. This afternoon it's on to the beautiful sea port of Portsmouth, where a presentation informs on how food defines a region.

DAY 6 BOSTON

Following breakfast, your journey takes you to Lexington and Concorde to view Old Bridge North and Minute Man Statue. Your next stop is the beautiful and vibrant city of Boston, where visits to Faneuil Hall, the Old State House and the South Meeting House are a treat. This evening is yours to discover why this city is renowned as one of the prettiest in America.

DAY 7 BOSTON

Following a tour of Fenway Park; home to baseball's infamous Boston Red Sox, you will embark on a relaxed walking and tasting tour of Boston. A food expert will guide you along Charles Street in the Beacon Hill neighbourhood where a plethora of delicacies can be found. This evening you'll enjoy a farewell dinner with our new found friends.
