Checked Baggage Allowance
For all classes of travel the allowance is two pieces, each with a maximum weight of 50lbs (23 kilos). The dimensions (length, depth and width) must not exceed 62” (158cm) per bag.

Domestic Policy
Please note when connecting with the same airline from or on to an international flight the baggage policy of the transatlantic flights apply. When the flight is not connecting from or to a transatlantic flight or is on another carrier the following policy applies:-

Tickets purchased prior to May 12th 2008 two free bags.
Tickets Purchased May 12th 2008 – June 14th 2008 may check one bag for free and second bag for $25 Tickets purchased on/after June 15th 2008 will be charged $15 for the first bag and $25 for the second.

If you are travelling in Economy the allowance is two pieces, each with a maximum weight of 50lbs (23 kilos). For passengers travelling in Executive First/Executive Class the allowance is three pieces, each with a maximum weight of 70lb (32kilos), however the total weight of all three bags must not exceed 150lbs (69 kilos). Air Canada Elite/Super Elite allowance is four bags with a maximum weight allowance of 70lbs per back (32kilos) however the total weight of all four bags must not exceed 200lbs (92 kilos).

Checked Baggage Allowance
For all classes of travel on Delta the checked baggage allowance is two pieces, each with a maximum weight of 50lbs (23 kilos) and dimensions of 62” (158cm) per bag. As of July 1st 2009, international economy class will now check in first bag free and second bag $50 per person.

For tickets purchased between July 31st and November 5^th 2008 for travel on or after August 5th 2008; one free bag and $50 charge for the second bag.
For tickets purchased on or after November 6^th 2008; $15 charge for the first bag and $25 charge for the second bag.
For tickets purchased on or after April 22nd 2009 for travel on or after July 1st 2009; check in one bag is $15 charge, check in second bag is $25 charge.

Seat pitch of 55” to 60” and a recline of 135 degrees or 150 degrees depending on the aircraft type.

If travelling in First/Envoy Class the allowance is two pieces with a maximum weight of 70lbs (32 kilos). In Economy the allowance is one piece with maximum weight of 50lbs (23 kilos). An additional bag with the same weight allowance may be checked in for $25 (payable at check-in). The dimensions of each bag must not exceed 62” (158cm).

Tickets purchased before April 23rd 2009 first Bag is $15 and second bag has a $25 charge.

VIRGIN ATLANTIC

Upper Class Suite

Premium Economy
