The 12-mile long island of Hilton Head boasts world-class golf and tennis, cycling, horse riding and wide sandy beaches perfect for family games and lazing in the sunshine. Charleston, founded over 300 years ago as the first permanent English settlement in America, is steeped in history. Downtown, narrow streets are lined with grand colonial houses and stunning gardens, whilst the historic district is a delight to stroll through, filled with boutique shops, art galleries, museums, and cafes. For an unsurpassed vacation of total relaxation, the resort islands of Kiawah, Seabrook or Wild Dunes cannot be bettered where wide sandy beaches, luxurious resorts, and world famous championship golf courses are plentiful.
