    Location

    This majestic hotel holds an enviable location, overlooking Annapolis Basin with forested grounds and a mountainous backdrop. A scenic walk or five minute drive brings you into the pretty seaside-style town of Digby, littered with small cafes and shops and a promenade marina. The ferry terminal is just three kilometres away and Halifax is a three and a half hour drive.  

    Accommodation

    This Norman-style Chateau features 85 air conditioned guestrooms and suites, as well as one, two and three bedroom cottages featuring a cosy fireplace and spacious patios. Accommodations are traditional yet elegant in design and feature a wealth of amenities. Flat screen televisions and coffee makers come as standard and there are a range of view dependent on the accommodation choice made.

    Churchill's Restaurant and Bar serves Maritime influenced cuisine whilst offering spectacular water views. There is also a cosy bar tucked away downstairs, where pre and post dinner drinks can be enjoyed. Work off any indulgence at the fitness centre or partake in a relaxing treatment at the spa. Head outdoors to enjoy the heated outdoor pool, which also enjoys beautiful water views. There are also wooded hiking trails, a children's playground and the opportunity to practise your swing at the par 71, 18 hole Stanley Thompson Golf Course. Out and about you may choose to try sea kayaking, whale watching, zip lining or visit one of the local attractions such as Pointe de l’Eglise (home of North America’s largest wooden structure), Rendezvous de la Baie (Acadian Cultural and Interpretative Centre), Melanson Settlement Historic Site, Fort Anne Historic Site and Admiral Digby Museum.
