One of the most exciting ways to see a city is from the ground, and what better way to experience Vancouver than on a fully guided cycling tour. Cycle City Tours offer a choice of four small group tours (up to 12 riders per group), departing from two central downtown locations, each taking a different bike path.

    The Grand Bicycle Tour

    Duration: 5 Hours

This tour offers an all-encompassing exploration of the city. It starts with a tour of world famous Stanley Park, riding along the waterfront on the Seawall as well as exploring little known forest trails where you'll see old growth trees, tons of wildlife and unique rainforest plants. Then you'll pass by English Bay and hop on a small ferry over Granville Island Public Market. Here you get a 45 minute break to find lunch at the market (on your own). Next, explore False Creek enjoying beautiful views of downtown framed by the North Shore Mountains. Get up-close with the future of “green Vancouver” at Olympic Village complex and Science World. Finally, go back in time to check out Vancouver’s Chinatown including a visit to Dr. Sun Yat Sen Chinese Park and Gastown, learning about the city’s humble beginnings as a logging outpost and Gassy Jack’s pub. Frequent stops, photo-ops, and flat trails, and 95% riding on paths separated from traffic make this an enjoyable ride!

    Stanley Park Bicycle Tour

    Duration: 3 Hours

Stanley Park is uniquely situated with incredibly scenic views of downtown Vancouver, the North Shore, the Lion’s Gate Bridge, as well as English Bay and the Westend. Your guide will weave you down the pristine forest trails that criss-cross through the park, and give incisive information about our amazing wilderness city. This is definitely more than just a ride in the park. You will walk or ride away with a deeper understanding of both Vancouver and its green treasure. It is an easy 12 km ride on dedicated bike trails at a relaxed pace so you can take in the sights.

in their search for food which often includes crab and other beings along the beaches.

    Tofino Whale Watching

In spring, Gray whales, leave their wintering grounds of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula to feed as far north as Alaska. Some remain here to feed. These gentle giants are a common sight from March until late October, making Tofino a great place for whale watching, spring, summer and early fall. The transient orcas are found in these waters during the spring, summer and fall months and are a spectacle to witness in the wild.

Come summer, Humpback whales, travel east from Maui. Enormous, majestic, and mysteriously fond of breaching, a humpback shattering the surface of the water is a truly unforgettable sight.
