Amelia Island, Jacksonville & St Augustine

Located off the coast of northeast Florida, Amelia Island is easy to reach, but hard to forget. With 13 miles of beautiful beaches, abundant native wildlife, and pristine waters, this barrier island has long been a beloved destination.

Where as Jacksonville is not only about the beach, but it is also a natural water wonderland. From the majestic St. Johns River and the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway, marshes, and lakes—there is a way for everyone to enjoy the water in Jacksonville.

Rich in the old and the new, St. Augustine blends historic sites, famous restaurants, shopping from antiques to boutiques and breathtaking nature.

Amelia Island

Relax and enjoy the stunning beaches and pristine waters whether it be just sunning on the beach or enjoying the many water sports options from parasailing, scuba diving or dolphin watching. There is as much to explore on the water as there is on land.

With 117 holes along the Atlantic Ocean (think of it as a 42 million square mile water hazard) the links of Amelia Island offer irresistible play for golfers of every skill. Alternatively, spend a few hours horse-back riding on the beach and in the dunes and bicycling on the many trails and paths. (Bike rentals are available throughout the island).

Stroll, shop and eat in Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach. Down and around Centre Street, you’ll find a range of eclectic independent local businesses with genuine Southern charm and more than 70 independent restaurants.

Jacksonville

Jacksonville boasts three beach areas with gorgeous white sand: Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, and Atlantic Beach, plus the historic fishing village of Mayport to the north. Locals say the best spot to hit the waves is “The Poles” located just inside Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park.

Take your pick between dozens of world-class golf courses. There’s a reason the PGA Tour and World Golf Hall of Fame are headquartered here. Jacksonville and the surrounding areas boast world-class golf courses for every level of play in beautiful oceanside and riverfront settings.

Jacksonville’s arts and cultural community shines bright with stand-out museums, boutique galleries, and performing arts galore. Experience a unique blend of festivals, live music, regular art events, and exhibitions.

When it comes to shopping, you will be spoilt for choice, whether it be in one of the luxurious shopping malls, the numerous outlets or the markets there is something for everyone.

The Jacksonville culinary scene is in full bloom whether you are looking for fine dining or a casual bite or some fresh catch of the day. You will be spoilt for choice.

St Augustine

Experience living history in museums, take in the beauty of unspoiled nature, walk St. George Street to feel like you’re living in the past, then visit one of the boutique hotels for 21st-century luxury.

Spend the day on the stunning beaches and relax in the sun or head for the water and partake in the many water sports available. On land enjoy a round of golf or a game of tennis, visit the local attractions with the kids or stroll through the quaint streets and boutiques and art galleries. In town, guides narrate tours of St. Augustine from charming open-air trolleys, trains or horse-drawn carriages. Guides in period costume also lead walking tours. And nowhere else in the world can you taste the waters of the Fountain of Youth Archeological Park (where Ponce de Leon may have landed).

When it comes to dining you have so many options from waterside seafood dining to fine dining or just the casual snack. There is truly something for everyone.
