Dana Point

The beautiful seaside city of Dana Point is located in Orange County, Southern California, about halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego. Dana Point is a favourite central point, bordered by the cities of Laguna Niguel and Laguna Beach to the north, San Juan Capistrano to the east, and San Clemente to the south.

Dana Point attracts visitors from around the world, and enchants them with seven miles of coastal bluffs, pristine beaches and the magnificent Pacific Ocean. It gained its first popularity as a surfers paradise in the 1950’s and 60’s, known for 12 foot waves, later named ‘Killer Dana’, and California’s first commercial surf shop, which was set up here in 1954 and still thrives today.

More recently, whale watching, golfing, surfing, deep-sea fishing, paddle boarding, and many more have made Dana Point a hotspot for visitors from all over the globe. It is possible that due to the natural and beautiful harmony of the cliffs, the beaches, the harbour and the world-class resorts, here, that the activities are more awe-inspiring in Dana Point than any other California destination,

The harbour offers a hive of activity. Since its creation in 1971, it has created fantastic opportunities for kayaking and paddle boarding around the calm bay surrounded by marine wildlife, including dolphins, sea lions, and seals. You’ll find unique boutiques and laid back eateries offering fresh seafood along Highway 1, as well as nearby Salt Creek Beach, Baby Beach, and Doheny State Beach.
