Jackson And Grand Teton National Park

Jackson located in the Jackson Hole valley is a major gateway for visiting nearby Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and the National Elk Refuge.

Framed by four elk-antler arches, Jackson’s Town Square is the picturesque centerpiece of Jackson. Stroll through the town and its many unique shops and stop for a drink at the famed Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. The town square is surrounded by dozens of boardwalk-fronted art and photo galleries, bars, restaurants, factory outlets, and gift shops.

In summer absorb the beautiful region while having fun ATV riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, canoeing or kayaking, fishing and fly fishing. The pristine and scenic rivers are stunning for avid whitewater paddlers and rafters or for a relaxing float along a lazy river.

In winter a host of winter sports activities await you including downhill skiing, cross country skiing, dog sledding, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling.

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park is located in northwestern Wyoming; north of the town of Jackson, Wyoming, and south of Yellowstone National Park. It is often overshaded by its larger neighbour Yellowstone National Park, however, it is equally beautiful and provides greater opportunity to see Wyoming’s bear and moose population.

During summer, wildflowers paint meadows in vivid colors. Crystalline alpine lakes fill glacial cirques, and noisy streams cascade down rocky canyons to larger lakes at the foot of the range.

The Snake River flows through the park and features world-class fishing, unparalleled wildlife viewing, boating and floating the mild rapids depending on the time of year.

Have your camera ready if you take a scenic drive along the Jenny Lake or the Signal Mountain Summit Road and watch out for the animals.

Hiking in Grand Teton National Park can be a challenging experience due to the rugged nature of the landscape, including high elevation, steep trails and extreme and sudden weather changes.

South of the park is Teton Village, a quaint town offering a selection of shops and restaurants.
