In spring and summer, it’s all about the great outdoors with beautiful scenic hiking and biking trails or head to the water, boating, canoeing, kayaking or fishing. Marquette County is also about seeing stunning waterfalls and there are plenty of them. Challenge yourself to a round of golf with spectacular views over Lake Superior.

Autumn is all about colours and the changing of the leaves. There are a variety of tours you can follow for truly amazing scenery. Don’t forget your camera. During the winter, Marquette transforms into a winter wonderland. The city is a hub for snow enthusiasts, with miles of cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing opportunities, and access to some of the best downhill skiing in the region at Marquette Mountain.
