Created to reflect the wild Pacific landscape which surrounds it, Black Rock’s innovative design utilises water, glass, steel and wood. 133 contemporary studios and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows for optimum nature views. All accommodations boast a gas fireplace, balcony, kitchenette, flat screen television, wireless internet and a luxurious bathroom with heated slate tile flooring, a bath and rainfall shower.

In contrast with the abundant adventure and activities which surround it, Black Rock Oceanfront Resort is a fabulous retreat. With locally-sourced products utilised in the rejuvenating treatments, Drift Spa is a tranquil paradise. In addition, there is an outdoor hot tub and fully-equipped fitness centre. Fetch Restaurant showcases fresh, local cuisine accompanied by magical ocean views, and Float Lounge offers light fare, wines and cocktails by a warming fire.

Guestroom Renovations

We are advised that Black Rock Oceanfront will commence renovations to all guestrooms in October 2023. The initial work will be on the Wild Pacific Trail Units. There will be little impact to guests as these units are four-plexes and all units will be closed as they work on each building. Some noise and visual impact is to be expected. Work will stop for the summer 2024 period (June to September 2024) and then recommence with renovations to the Main Lodge Building in October 2024. The project is estimated to be completed in June 2025.
