A futuristic interpretation of local outport architecture, Fogo Island Inn is a one-of-a-kind contemporary hotel. Designed by Todd Saunders, Fogo Island Inns’ architecture is bold, optimistic and distinctly of maritime origin. Offering just 29 individually designed suites, all feature floor-to-ceiling windows boasting remarkable views of the North Atlantic Ocean, heated wood floors, bespoke furniture, vibrant patterned walls and hand-crafted quilts.

This property has a focus on preserving the island’s long-standing culture of fishermen, boat builders and local artists. The inns’ guides offer natural adventures from multi-day intensive hikes and educational geological walks, to fishery tours and slower-paced island rambles. Following a full day outdoors, the wood-fired sauna and rooftop hot tubs provide a welcome retreat. There’s also a fitness centre, small cinema, art gallery and library. Dining is an absolute treat, with unobstructed water views, creative menus and a chic, yet relaxed atmosphere.
