Renovations
Escalator Replacement
Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa is upgrading and modernising the Diamond Head escalator. The scope of the project is to replace the existing ground floor escalator in Diamond Head Tower with an upgraded model that will enhance guest experiences and promote guest safety. The project is scheduled to begin on February 12th, 2024, and will close the Diamond Head Tower escalator from the ground floor to the 2nd floor in both directions. Work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm, with additional days or hours added as needed. Partitions and signage will be placed around the designated area for the duration of the project and it will have no impact on the guestrooms.Completion of this project will take approximately 16 weeks, with an estimated completion date of June 1st, 2024. Signage will be posted throughout the resort to direct and guide guests to utilize the Na Ho’ola Spa elevator or the Ewa Tower escalators when travelling between the ground and 2nd floors.
