    Say Aloha to Oahu

The gateway island of Oahu is best known for Waikiki Beach but there’s so much more. Delve in to the history of Pearl Harbour, surf the North Shore, go hiking inland, enjoy the great shopping, cosmopolitan restaurant scene and fun nightlife – all from the comfort of your luxury resort.

    Romantic Maui

Once the playground of Hawaiian Royalty, Maui is all about romance and tranquillity with 42 miles of dreamy secluded beaches and spectacular oceanfront hotels. It’s more low-key than Oahu and its breathtaking natural beauty is on your doorstep. Go whale-watching, play a round of golf on one of 14 courses or head to the Haleakala National Park and the natural pools of Oheo Gulch.

    The Garden Isle of Kauai

Tropical rainforest, scenic rivers, emerald green mountains and cascading waterfalls make for an altogether different experience on lush Kauai. Also known as the Island of Discovery, it’s relaxed, outdoorsy and inviting. Explore Waimea Canyon and Kilauea Lighthouse before flopping on the white sand beaches or beside your resort’s pool.

    The Big Island

This romantic island, known as The Big Island, offers an intoxicating mix of adventure, natural wonders and amazing black sand beaches. It’s home to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (a World Heritage Site) and you’ll even see snow-capped mountains and volcanic deserts – on the same island. Visit the gardens and nurseries in the flower-growing district of Puna – they are packed with scented tropical blooms.

    Idyllic Lanai Island

Lanai is the smallest and most tranquil of the Hawaiian islands, perfect for a romantic escape. It even has its own ‘Sweetheart Rock’, known locally as Puu Pehe. There’s some excellent snorkelling and Shipwreck Beach, offers the perfect beachcomber’s spot.

    Island hopping

Let us create a dream multi-centre holiday for you in Hawaii. With each island offering a unique experience, and frequent inter-island flights, it’s easy to get the most from your trip by combining two or more islands. Equally popular is the chance to add on a stay in Hawaii with the west coast of the USA – San Francisco or Los Angeles for example.

    • Top Tip 1

Download the Hawaii Tourism Authority ‘App’ – GoHawaii from the App Store. It’s loaded with helpful and useful information and tips about the islands.

    • Top Tip 2

Drive the Road to Hana, along the east shore of Maui. It’s one of the Pacific’s most scenic routes; stop to enjoy the waterfalls and other beauty spots en route.

    • Top Tip 3

Everyone does it, but it really is worth a visit to Pearl Harbour and the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial.

    • Top Tip 4

On the Big Island of Hawaii, take a helicopter excursion and fly over the lava flow region of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

    • Top Tip 5

Take a drive over to Hanalei Bay on the north shore of Kauai. It's where South Pacific was filmed.

    • Top Tip 6

Hawaii’s whale-watching season is from December to April so take some time out on the water.

    • Top Tip 7

The Na Pali coast on the north-west side of Kauai boasts rugged 3000 ft high cliffs covered in lush green vegetation. You can only see it by helicopter or on a boat excursion. Prepare to be amazed.

    • Top Tip 8

Oahu's north shore is home to two of the best surfing spots in the world - Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay. The waters tend to be calm during the summer months, however, the winter weather systems create waves up to 30 ft high so it's a great place to watch the daring surfers.

    • Top Tip 9

If you're staying at the Hyatt Regency Maui, make sure you take the Tour of the Stars. You'll view the stars through Hawaii's only recreational telescope, located on the roof of the hotel. Book in advance as seating is limited and you won’t want to miss it.

    • Top Tip 10

Take a snorkelling tour by catamaran from Maui to Molokini Crater. You can depart from Lahaina; however it can get pretty choppy so we recommend you leave from Maalaea Bay for a shorter and calmer crossing.

    • Top Tip 11

It means a very early start, but drive to the top of the Haleakala Volcano on the island of Maui and watch the sunrise – simply spellbinding.
