Day 1 Arrive Halifax
Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to
Halifax. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy
a little time to relax before you meet your Tauck
Tour Director and travelling companions for a
welcome reception and dinner.

Day 2 Lunenburg & Peggy’s Cove
Your journey begins in spectacularly scenic style
as you pass through seaside hamlets and harbour
towns en route to Lunenburg. Named a UNESCO
World Heritage Site for its well-preserved,
colourful 19th century timber-built houses, you
have a choice of activities whilst visiting the town.
There are visits to Mahone Bay and Peggy’s Cove
on your way back to Halifax.

Day 3 Halifax & Citadel
Halifax offers so many options to keep you
entertained that today is free for you to choose
what you’d like to discover. This evening, enjoy
an exclusive private tour of the Citadel and a
hearty dinner.

Day 4 Prince Edward Island
Today starts with a ferry ride from Nova Scotia
across to Prince Edward Island, the smallest
of the Atlantic Provinces. Once settled in Old
Charlottetown you may choose to visit Founders
Hall, where the history of Canada’s origins is
chronicled. Nestled between two rivers in a quiet
protected harbour, your hotel is located on the
waterfront, steps from Peak’s Wharf.

Day 5 Greenwich Peninsula & Green Gables
This morning allows free time for exploration of
Charlottetown before making the short journey to
Prince Edward Island National Park. The scenery is
astounding. See dramatic bluffs, sweeping dunes,
endless coastline and salt marshes, which are rich
in wildlife. After a scenic drive, winding through
quaint fishing villages and alongside magnificent
beaches, you arrive at Green Gables House, the
famous farmhouse in Lucy Maud Montgomery’s
book Anne of Green Gables. End your day with
one of Atlantic Canada’s specialities: a traditional
lobster dinner.

Day 6 Digby
Cross the magnificent Confederation Bridge
to New Brunswick and make the short journey
to Nova Scotia. Enjoy some time at Port-Royal
National Historic Site and the Habitation. One
of the earliest settlements in North America,
reconstructed early 17th century buildings
come to life through costumed interpreters and
demonstrations.

Day 7 Digby Neck Whale Watching
It is a real highlight today, as you journey to
wildlife-rich Digby Neck for a whale watching
excursion. The afternoon is free for you to
explore some of the surrounding area or enjoy
one of the activities available at your beautiful
resort, before joining your new friends for a
farewell dinner.

Day 8 Journey Home
There’s a final stop at Grand-Pre National Historic
Site en route back to Halifax Airport, where you
check-in for your return flight to the UK.
