Location
Despite its name, the Old Faithful Snow Lodge & Cabins is open year round, making it the only lodging option to do so inside Yellowstone National Park. This is a popular choice of accommodation due to its proximity to Old Faithful and world-famous geyser basin. It was designed to follow the “parkitecture” style, using natural building materials to blend into its environment. It’s flanked by log columns and protected by a cedar shingle roof.
Accommodation
The lodge rooms at Old Faithful Snow Lodge are charming and rustic; featuring wood interiors. Each room offers lodge-style furnishings in addition to a coffee maker, refrigerator and hairdryer. You can also choose a Western Cabin, giving you extra living space. For something a little more simplistic, why not choose a Frontier Cabin; a duplex-style cabin with two double beds and a private bathroom featuring a shower (no baths in this category).

Renovations
Re-roofing project
The Snow Lodge will be managing several critical projects in the summer of 2024 that will include reroofing, a fire system upgrade, and an enclosure of the second-floor observation deck. This project will require a diversion of foot traffic to and from the building, use of construction barriers, impacts to parking, equipment staged and in use, and ongoing work that will likely cause noise between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
