Toronto

Ottawa

A blend of French and English, Ottawa, Canada’s capital city, is a spirited, cosmopolitan place that celebrates Canada’s achievements and culture with historical sites, national museums, a non-stop roster of festivals, plus shopping and delightful dining. This is like no capital city you have ever seen. With the Rideau Canal weaving through its centre and a beautiful natural setting spotted by green spaces, it supports year-round recreation and adventure. It is fair to say that the magnificent Parliament Buildings create a city skyline like no other.

DON’T MISS: An amphibious tour which showcases the city from land as well as water, and tasting Poutine (chips, curd and gravy) which is widely sold given Ottawa’s position on the Quebec border.

Niagara Falls

90 minutes from Toronto, witness the extraordinary spectacle of six million cubic feet of water dropping almost 200ft every minute! Travel toward the base of the Falls’ crashing waters on a breath-taking boat tour. Walk the craggy ridge behind the Falls to gain another perspective and enjoy the view from the brink at Table Rock. As darkness falls, Niagara comes to life with a variety of excellent restaurants, bars and casinos, and the Falls themselves are beautifully back-lit.

Although just a 20 minute drive from Niagara Falls, the picture perfect 19th-century town of Niagara-on-the-Lake offers an altogether different experience. Algonquin Provincial Park

Just a three hour drive from Toronto and Ottawa, Algonquin Provincial Park is a ‘must see’ for jaw dropping wildlife encounters and spectacular scenery. Algonquin is easily accessible from Muskoka or you can stay in a rustic luxury lodge in the park. The size of Devon, Algonquin is home to a population of over 3,000 moose as well as white-tailed deer, black bear and wolf. The park’s dramatic landscape consists of rocky ridges, spruce bogs, crystal-clear lakes and rivers and Beech, Sugar Maple and Pine trees as far as the eye can see. Summer brings a carpet of wildflowers and when Autumn comes, the forest is ablaze with reds, oranges and yellows. Blue Mountain at Georgian Bay
