Algonquin Provincial Park

Just a three hour drive from Toronto and Ottawa, Algonquin Provincial Park is a ‘must see’ for jaw dropping wildlife encounters and spectacular scenery. Algonquin is easily accessible from Muskoka or you can stay in a rustic luxury lodge in the park. The size of Devon, Algonquin is home to a population of over 3,000 moose as well as white-tailed deer, black bear and wolf. The park’s dramatic landscape consists of rocky ridges, spruce bogs, crystal-clear lakes and rivers and Beech, Sugar Maple and Pine trees as far as the eye can see. Summer brings a carpet of wildflowers and when Autumn comes, the forest is ablaze with reds, oranges and yellows.
