The Prestige Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of historic Prince Rupert, close to shopping and a variety of great local restaurants. The hotel is only a short stroll to Prince Rupert’s Inner Harbour where you can enjoy local attractions, events, and entertainment, as well as local artists’ specialty shops and so much more. This charming marine city provides access to many more destinations including ferries to Haida Gwaii and Vancouver Island.
Accommodation
A variety of recently renovated guestrooms are available including standard rooms, guestrooms with kitchenettes, and suites – many of which offer either a sea or city view. While the decor is rustic in design, the modern touches throughout give each room a contemporary feel. Standard guestrooms come complete with a king or queen-sized bed, complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen television, mini-refrigerator, and coffee maker. Kitchenette rooms and suites offer additional living space and upgraded amenities.
Facilities
Enjoy a hearty breakfast including a hot waffle bar each morning in the hotel’s Breakfast Room or if you are planning on an early start for a day of exploring, grab-and-go options are also available.
Renovations
Exterior and interior renovations
Prestige Oceanview Hotel is undergoing renovations until June 2024. These will include exterior painting, cladding and replacement of all windows, lobby and guest corridor renovations, refreshments to the 5th and 6th floor guestrooms, new furniture in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor guestrooms, and all guestrooms will receive new window coverings. Work is taking place seven days a week, between 8am and 6pm. The hotel will try to minimise guests impact as much as possible, but it is expected that work will be heard and seen.
