With all the luxuries of civilisation and a hint of Zen, this breathtaking Alaska luxury lodge inspires meaningful exploration, adventure, sustainability, and pure fun for the whole family. Surrounded by Alaska’s only state wilderness park, the only way to reach Stillpoint Lodge’s uniquely Alaskan home is by boat or floatplane.

Please note: Stillpoint Lodge is open seasonally between May 25th and September 2022. 

Accommodation

All guests stay in private log cabins, built with attention to comfort and view, enhanced with a tasteful feel of Alaska’s rich culture. Cabins are accentuated by the rich aroma of evergreen spruce trees, shaded covers of birch and willow trees, and the beauty of alder, wildflowers, and berry bushes; embracing the breathtaking surroundings and preserving as many natural features of the land as possible. Surrounded by quiet wilderness, some guests enjoy the sensuous seclusion of their cabin decks, watching nature as it unfolds throughout the day, while others can’t wait for the adventure of the day, exploring all that Alaska has to offer. 

One-Bedroom Suite Cabin – Enjoy the walk along the gardens to the newly renovated one-bedroom suites in the trees overlooking the ocean. This spacious cabin offers more space to spread out… perfect for a longer workcation stay. One king in the bedroom and a leather sofa, table, stocked mini-bar in the sitting room and attached heated bathroom with shower. Sleeps up to 2 guests.

Two-Bedroom Deluxe Cabin – A two-room cabin nestled in the trees with ocean views. Perfect for families and couples traveling together with a shared closet and expansive covered porch. One king or two twins in each bedroom, separate entrances, and attached heated bathroom with shower. Sleeps up to 5 guests.

One-Bedroom Deluxe CabinA private cabin with waterfront and mountain views. Watch the otters swim by as the tide comes and goes or relax on your covered deck and enjoy your morning coffee listening to the stillness. One king bed and private attached heated bathroom with shower. Sleeps up to 2 guests.

One-Bedroom Junior Suite Cabin – Get a taste of history by staying in this remodeled, historical hermitage hideaway. One of the last remaining structures on the property was built by one of the original homesteaders, Jack Jacob “Rusty” Lein. This charming, intimate cabin in the trees features a queen bed and a small sleeper sofa, a kitchenette, ocean views, and a private ensuite bathroom with a shower. Sleeps up to 3 guests.

DiningGuests enjoy a new menu daily, from casual, hearty breakfast to the four-course gourmet dining experience, curated with wines from the cellar, hand-selected by their very own Sommelier. Featuring contemporary-style cuisine from homemade snacks to decadent packed lunches to be enjoyed on adventure excursion; locally sourced, organic, and respectfully harvested.

LoungeDaily cocktail hour provides a time to share stories and exciting photos from your adventure and wildlife sightings of the day. With deep cozy couches, including more private areas, it’s a great place to sip one of the lodge’s famed cocktails or local craft beers, while tasting oysters from neighboring oyster farms.

Spa Relax in the infrared sauna, take a steamy soak in the hot tub, pamper yourself with a hot, high-pressure shower or prepare for your day’s adventures with a gentle morning stretch.

GardensWoodland footpaths with quiet benches for optimal views of the expansive vistas, pond-side tranquil sitting areas, dockside exploration, waterfalls, and many quiet places and special features await your discovery.

Included Activities

Step outside your door into the pristine, glorious wilderness of Kachemak Bay for a wide range of tailor-made adventures. You’ll have the opportunity to witness playful sea otters up-close as you launch an ocean kayak or stand up paddleboard right from the dock, as well as epic opportunities for watching whales and birds, bear viewing, tide pooling, world-class fishing, and even exploring glaciers and mountains.
