Enjoy a 110-mile cruise in the majestic waters of Prince William Sound to Meares Glacier. Onboard you will have a chance to view the Sound’s wildlife, such as sea otters, harbour seals, sea lions, and whales. You will learn the mining, oil, earthquake, and fishing history of Valdez, hear stories about the first people to explore and live in the Sound and pass by the terminus of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Your stop at Meares Glacier gives you the opportunity to see a stable glacier, as well as the chance to witness glacial ice calving into the ocean.
