Mountain Cove Bicycle Ramble (Guided)

If you’re a novice who has tired of the same old close-to-home routes but may not want to head out alone into new territory, this supported tour with a ride-along guide is for you. It’s a private tour, so you can choose the distance and pace. This loop ranks among the favourite routes for local cyclists–and for good reason:

It’s remote with little traffic.
It’s generally flat to slightly rolling with just two notable hills but nothing long or steep.
The scenery will keep you stopping again and again for photos–of barns, farms, old churches, and the ever-present Lookout Mountain on the ride south and Pigeon Mountain on the ride back north.
The turnaround point is Mountain Cove Store, where you’ll have snacks and time to look forward to our ride back, with lunch available at Pigeon Mountain Grill.

This tour departs from Chickamauga which is 3 hours away from Helen, and 2 hours away from Blue Ridge or Dahlonega.
