Private Jeep And Airboat Tour Of Everglades National Park

  • 5 Hours & 30 Minutes
  • All year round

Visit one of America’s great national parks on a five and a half hour tour of the Florida Everglades from Miami. On your private tour, you will:

  • Be picked up from your hotel in Miami in a 4X4 Jeep, and head out into the National Park accompanied by an expert local guide and Everglades aficionado!
  • Drive deep into the heart of the Everglades, where you’ll discover that just a few feet difference in elevation gives birth to entirely different ecosystems. See pine and cypress forests as well as an abundance of local wildlife, including the American Alligator.
  • Meet a local Seminole Miccosukee tribe member who will lead you and your guide on a1-hour airboat experience, including a visit to one or more tribal tree islands.
  • Learn about the Seminole Miccosukee tribe, their history, way of life, and conservation efforts of the glades. You may even see some baby alligators or turtles that have recently been rescued and are on their way to rehabilitation and release.
  • After your airboat ride and jeep excursion, enjoy an easy drive back to central Miami where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.
  • Please note: we recommend visiting the park when the wildlife is most active – between December and June.
  • Water, mosquito repellent, and ponchos in case of rain will be provided for you. Please bring any food or drinks you wish to consume during the excursion.

Your private tour takes you to America’s largest subtropical wilderness, Florida Everglades National Park. Established in the 1940s to stop the degradation already occurring through real estate development, the park covers over 7800 square miles and is the tenth-largest national park in the country. It is entirely devoted to protecting the flora and fauna within the delicate biosphere. You will be accompanied by a private guide throughout the excursion and will be joined by a Miccosukee tribesperson for the airboat experience. Both are extremely knowledgeable about the limited roads, the changing weather, and the rich variety of species that call this park home. With several ecosystems located within it, the Everglades is an ideal place for spotting many of Florida’s indigenous wildlife, including alligators, egrets, and if you’re lucky, the endangered panther.
