Experience Athabasca Glacier – 4 hours
This half-day tour will have you venturing down the Icefields Parkway to the famous Columbia Ice Fields, rated by National Geographic as one of the most scenic drives in the world. From there, you will gear up to step onto the breathtaking Athabasca Glacier. Walk through snow and ice while your experienced guide navigates crevasses so that you may explore the glacier and ice caves safely. All gear and transport provided. You will meet at the Rockaboo shop where you will choose your footwear and gear for the day and pick up your bagged lunch (included). You will then be transported by bus to the Athabasca Glacier. Along the way, your ACMG (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides) certified guides will interpret many of the natural wonders surrounding this highway. There will be a stop at the spectacular Tangle Falls where you can fill up your water bottles with fresh mountain glacier-fed water.

Experience Rock Climbing – 4 hours
Venture beyond the townsite for this unique adventure. This hands-on experience takes you to places beyond the beaten path and is fun for the whole family. This tour begins at the Rockaboo Mountain Adventures office in Jasper and travels a short distance to a perfect limestone wall next to the Athabasca river – Morro Slabs. Once at the site, you’ll receive instructions on gear and techniques, then your guide coaches you as you rappel, or are lowered, to the bottom of
the wall. Next? You’ll climb!
