There are 1,077 acres of grounds to explore here, filled with unique plant life and horticultural exhibits Longwood Gardens is not just a pretty place, it’s made significant contributions to the study of plants and the infinite potential they have to offer – so you’ll learn loads about horticulture and plant sciences. Climb up into a tucked-away treehouse to get a squirrel’s-eye-view of the surrounding landscape. Take snaps of the creative shrubbery in the topiary garden. And, relax and enjoy a fountain display in the Italian Water Garden.
