The Atlantic Ocean is an immense playground for whales. Every spring, thousands of them turn their backs on this habitat to enter the St. Lawrence, some of them travelling up the Estuary as far as the mouth of the Saguenay, to feed on fish and plankton throughout the summer. This eleven hour tour from Quebec City provides further insight into the habits of the Finback, Mike and Beluga Whales.

As you travel along the St Lawrence River into the mountains of the Charlevoix, knowledgeable commentary on the natural history of this rugged and unspoilt land is shared. On arrival in Tadoussac, you board a specially designed ship with an experienced naturalist, for a whale watching excursion. A Zodiak boat tour option is also available.
