Lakeside, located on the eastern side of Prince Edward Island is home to one of the islands most scenic and accessible beaches.

Located just 24mph northeast of Charlottetown, on the outskirts of Morell, Lakeside Beach is a highlight for locals and visitors alike. Over a mile of golden sandy shores, just east of PEI National Park’s Greenwich Beach, the beach comprises of impressive dunes and dreamy settings completely isolated from the usual beaten track. Lakeside Beach offers a perfect spot to enjoy a simple beach retreat or if you’re feeling more adventurous try a guided horseback ride along the beach.

Take a walk along the floating board walk through the marsh lands along to the sand dunes and secluded parts of the beach for an unforgettable experience and stunning views or visit the iconic landmark; St Peters Harbour Lighthouse.

Lakeside has become a desired destination for golfers. The Links at Crowbush Cove provides a monumental challenge for linksmen amidst lush native flora and fauna complete with a panoramic ocean view.

Lakeside is part of the Points East Coastal Drive route, a 295 mile journey around eastern Prince Edward Island.
