There can be so many reasons to take a city break in either the USA or Canada. A long weekend to see some sights and enjoy some shopping in New York, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia or Washington; a romantic few days without the kids to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary; a stag or hen party weekend in Las Vegas or Miami Beach; or just because…!

Perhaps you don’t need an excuse to fit in a quick few days away, and despite the fact that there’s the Atlantic Ocean between the UK and North America, the frequency of flights, reasonably priced fares and hotels as well as choice of departure airports makes any city break an easy option.

Superior First Class	More often than not, this will be a superior modern hotel or an older property which is exceptionally well maintained. All offer very comfortable and well-furnished accommodation and public areas.
First Class	A dependable and comfortable hotel with standardised rooms. These are the ideal choice for travellers who don not require deluxe facilities or special services.
Moderate First Class	Essentially a First Class hotel with comfortable but sometimes simple accommodations. Public areas may be limited but generally provides all the essentials a guest requires.
