The historic city of Kingston has a fabled past which can be discovered on the Original Haunted Walk. Alternatively, you can hear the eerie tales of Fort Henry on Ghosts of the Fort. Toronto’s Ghosts and Spirits of the Distillery tour takes place on its cobblestone streets, whilst the Original Haunted Walk showcases theatrical hauntings and unsolved mysteries.
The Original Haunted Walk of Toronto
Duration: 1.5 Hours
Ghosts, graveyards, hangings and haunts. Hear some of the spine-tingling ghost stories from the earliest days of the city, including haunted theatres, unsolved mysteries and the terrifying encounters at Mackenzie House. The tour departs from the courtyard in front of the Hockey Hall of Fame (30 Yonge Street).
Ghosts and Spirits of the Distillery
Duration: 1.5 Hours
With tales of duels to the death, the perilous world of whiskey-making and the explosive War of 1812, you’ll quickly see why this area is known as one of Toronto’s most haunted spots. Stroll along the cobblestone streets of the historic Distillery District and area by lantern light. This tour is year round and departs from 30 Gristmill Lane in the Distillery District
The Original Haunted Walk of Ottawa

This popular tour shares some of the city’s favourite ghost stories from the area and leads you by candlelight to some of Ottawa’s most haunted spots including: the Bytown Museum, the Fairmont Château Laurier and Ottawa’s haunted high school.
Ghosts and the Gallows – Haunted Jail Tour
Duration: 1.5 Hours
This tour takes you inside the old Carleton County Jail (now the HI Ottawa Jail Hostel) one of the most haunted buildings in North America. Was the wrong man hanged for the murder of D’Arcy McGee? Does he haunt the jail today? Experience the jail on this year-round tour and decide for yourself.
Crime and Punishment Historical Jail Tour
Duration: 1 Hour
Unlike the Ghosts and the Gallows tour, this tour sets the ghost stories aside and concentrates on the incredible history of the old Carleton County Jail (now the HI Ottawa Jail Hostel). How was the prison used? How bad were the living conditions? Did inmates try to escape? How many were executed? All these questions are answered and more as you are put face-to-face with the last working gallows in Canada.
The Original Haunted Walk of Kingston
Duration: 1 Hour
Haunting locals and newcomers alike, this walking tour takes you through Kingston’s old Sydenham Ward. It features hidden burial grounds, grave robbings, hangings at the old courthouse, and Kingston’s famous haunted courtyard.
Ghosts of the Fort
Duration: 1.5 Hours
As seen on Ghost Hunters, explore Fort Henry, Kingston’s spooky 19th century fortress, as your guide recounts its tragic history, including the hanging of Nils Von Schoultz, the secret of Deadman’s Bay, and many supernatural encounters. Please note some locations on this tour may be frightening to young children.
