The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre is a world-class attraction located in Whistler showcasing the distinct cultures of the Squamish and Lil’wat Nations, two First Nations (Indigenous) peoples of British Columbia. This extraordinary experience will include colourful indigenous art — seen nowhere else, historical and contemporary exhibits, textiles, cedar carvings, priceless collections, song, dance, traditional food, live artist demonstrations, interactive programs, and an exploratory outdoor component. The Cultural Centre offers guests of all ages an authentic and fascinating resort activity that is not to be missed. This magnificent 3-story, 30,400 square foot venue houses a Great Hall, Class-A Museum, 80-seat Theatre, 1200 square foot Gift Shop and a Café. The Squamish and Lil’wat people of British Columbia invite you to witness the richness of their worlds. Situated on six forested acres in Whistler’s upper village, the Centre is easy walking distance from all Whistler Village hotels, restaurants and shops. The SLCC is a shared legacy project of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre is an authentic cultural activity for the whole family. The Centre showcases cultures through art, exhibits, food, film and live performances. A 15-minute film provides a spectacular visual portrayal of Squamish and Lil’wat traditional practices and contemporary cultures. After the film, the tour allows you to view exhibits that explore our relationship to the land and objects that celebrate our traditions of art, music and ceremony, past and present. Touch screens and interactive panels showcase our languages, artifacts and seasonal use of land and resources. In our contemporary gallery, view modern art and make a craft; learn about Salish wool and cedar weaving.

Superior First Class	More often than not, this will be a superior modern hotel or an older property which is exceptionally well maintained. All offer very comfortable and well-furnished accommodation and public areas.
First Class	A dependable and comfortable hotel with standardised rooms. These are the ideal choice for travellers who don not require deluxe facilities or special services.
