Whistler Helicopter Tours

BC Experience Tour (24 minutes in the air with a 15-minute mountain landing)

Lifting off from the north end of the Whistler Valley, you’ll rise into the magnificent Coast Mountains. Explore expansive glaciers and mighty peaks as you see Whistler in the best possible way. If the weather permits, the pilot will take you to a mountaintop landing where you’ll get to stretch your legs, snap some photos and take in the view for 15 minutes (complimentary). 

What to bring: Camera, sunglasses, enclosed shoes, and appropriate clothing for seasonal conditions and alpine conditions.

Whistler Explorer (15 minutes in the air)

A spectacular aerial introduction to Whistler Blackcomb. An exhilarating and breathtaking adventure that gives you an all-access pass to remarkable views at every turn. Peak to stunning peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, the incredible Whistler Village, and glacier-fed alpine lakes. Try and spot your house or hotel from here!

Private Blackcomb Signature Tour (40 minutes in the air with a 15-minute mountain landing)

A private 40-minute flight for up to 5 passengers.  This tour departs from the Whistler heliport and immediately heads North through the remote backcountry terrain of the Soo and Rutherford valleys, before reaching the remarkable Ipsoot Icefield. After 20 minutes of flying, if weather permits, you’ll stop for a complimentary 15-minute mountain landing.

The tour finishes with 20 minutes of flying through the iconic Whistler landmarks of the Black Tusk, Garibaldi Lake, Cheakamus Glacier, the Peak to Peak, and the ski resort.  This is the most all-encompassing experience you can do in Whistler, and should not be missed!

What to bring: Camera, sunglasses, closed-toe shoes, appropriate clothing for the weather (a light jacket may be needed even on warm summer days)

Other important information: 

  • All tours and adventures are subject to weather, availability of aircraft, and civil emergencies.
  • The Blackcomb Signature tour is only available to book privately.
  • A shuttle may be available from the Visitors Centre in Whistler Village to Whistler Heliport.
  • 5/6 passengers per flight (depending on the weight and temperature & if the larger aircraft is available at that time)
  • Children under 2 are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Children over the age of 2 would need their own seat.
