Visit the multi-cultural neighborhoods of Chinatown, Little Italy and Greektown in addition to the spectacular SkyDome, Royal Ontario Museum and the CN Tower.

Sightseeing in Toronto

Fairmont Royal York, Toronto
Day 4, 5

Niagara Falls

81mi / 130km

Heading south takes you past the orchards and vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula. Stop in the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and try the Whirlpool Jet Boat tour before continuing along the Niagara Parkway. We suggest a boat tour to view Horseshoe Falls, but prepare to get wet!

Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa, Niagara
Day 6, 7

Huntsville

205mi / 330km

Today, head north through scenic rural villages where we suggest a stop at Muskoka Pioneer Village en route. Huntsville is located on the edge of Algonquin National Park, a beautiful setting with a wide array of recreational activities available. Hike the trails and waterways of the National Park or enjoy some of the activities available at your hotel, such as golf, tennis, horse riding.

Deerhurst Resort, Huntsville
Day 8

Ottawa

213mi / 343km

Perhaps enjoy some more time at Algonquin National Park before taking the short drive to Ottawa. Canada’s capital city, Ottawa is an impressive yet intimate multicultural city. It is filled with national and historic sites, has a very walkable downtown and boasts a beautiful natural setting which supports year-round recreation. Every stay should include a visit to Parliament Hill to see the changing of the guard ceremony, as well as the Canadian Museum of History, Canadian Museum of Nature, National Gallery of Canada and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police stables.

A short drive today leaves you with lots of time to enjoy Montreal. Sightseeing in Montreal

Day 13, 14

Follow the St. Lawrence River northeast to enchanting Quebec City. We suggest a stop at Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Canada’s shrine to the Virgin Mary. Québec City provides a fascinating urban experience, where the old complements the new unlike anywhere else in Canada. The Lower Town is a living museum of narrow cobbled streets and 17th and 18th century houses, all accented by beautiful French/Canadian architecture. This city is also wonderfully cosmopolitan, alive with an abundance of sidewalk cafes, fine dining restaurants, eclectic shopping and stylish hotels. The majestic St. Lawrence River meanders right through its centre, providing wonderful outdoor opportunities from energetic running and biking routes to picnics and romantic strolls. The Fortifications, Place Royal and the Basilica are all must-sees.
