Victoria Whale Watching

Choose to take to the water in the covered Orca Spirit boat or to get wet aboard the open 12 passenger Zodiac. Both vessels soar through the waves to one of three resident Orca pods, where you’ll get the opportunity to see the resident Orca whales in all their glory. All tours are accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, who will answer all your questions about these magnificent creatures.

What might you see?

Incredible sightings include Transient orcas, humpback and minke whales, Steller and California sea lions, harbour seals, river and sea otters, harbour and Dall’s porpoises and a plethora of marine birds such as cormorants and bald eagles
Our sighting success rate in 2019 was 98%!
Southern Vancouver Island is home to three resident pods; J, K, and L made up of over 70 whales
