Amherst

Amherst, located in western Massachusetts is a charming college town. This historic area has many museums, antique stores, galleries, and cultural activities.

Downtown Amherst is a unique blend of restaurants, shops, and cultural destinations wrapped in New England charm. If you love Emily Dickinson, be sure to stop here. This old house is full of history for those who enjoy American Romantic poetry and the story of Emily D. It is situated on a hill in downtown Amherst MA, next to her brother’s home which may also be explored.

Deerfield

Spend a day in old New England and visit Historic Deerfield, an authentic 18th-century New England village in the Connecticut River Valley of Massachusetts. Tour beautifully restored museum houses with period architecture and furnishings.
